Giorgetti Moorea

The new outdoor furnishings are designed to gently fit into the natural landscape and offer moments of sophisticated relaxation.

Outdoor design confirms its strong presence at Milan Design Week, and many new collections have been presented by companies. Different in materials, colors and concepts, they are united by the intention to fit into the natural context with delicacy.

With essential lines, rounded corners, refined materials and neutral colors to welcome us into an outdoor that is comfortable and also beautiful to contemplate, just like a panorama. It is the result of a precious synergy between designers and research departments of companies that focus on innovative materials, designed to respond to atmospheric agents, and at the same time support the aesthetic and functional vision of the designer. Fulfilling the desire of those who have an outdoor space and want to live it fully.

Giorgetti: like in a living room

Giorgetti’s approach to outdoor furnishings is striking for its completeness and attention to detail. In its ideal setting, the absolute protagonist is the Moorea sofa by Carlo Colombo, with its enveloping design and fresh fabrics inspired by nature. It is accompanied by the Aldìa coffee table by the same designer, and the beautiful Amazonia floral sculptures by Roberto Cambi. The Moorea collection is also enriched with a dining table and chairs, to complete the furnishings of the entire outdoor area.

Gervasoni: Neo-Mediterranean style

Mediterranean but with a contemporary touch is the style of the collection by Francesco Meda that takes the name and the atmosphere of the “mare nostrum” to create a collection perfect for any outdoor setting.

The chosen material is teak used for the structure of the seats but also for the new table available with different types of tops: marble, dark grey Lava Stone stoneware, white concrete or green textured glass.

Living Divani: warm minimalism

The outdoor collections by Living Divani are characterized by essential and enveloping lines, with material and formal details that make the ensembles warm. Among the new products presented is the Kasumi collection by the Mist-o studio, which includes a sofa, armchair and coffee tables with a vaguely Japanese style. Also very interesting is the outdoor version of the Balestro sofa by Piero Lissoni with the angular backrest in synthetic rope or PVC.

&Tradition: architectural inspiration

The Thorwald collection by Space Copenhagen is inspired by the Thorwaldsen Museum in the Danish capital for which it was initially conceived. Essential, evocative and vaguely retro, the collection is composed of an armchair, stackable chairs, a dining table and coffee tables and is intended for the dining area or an outdoor breakfast corner. The essential elegance makes it suitable for contexts of various styles.

Talenti: enveloping harmonies

Among the new collections presented by Talenti, Flow by Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba stands out in particular. The name is a declaration of intent: to make outdoor life fluid and comfortable. Thanks to enveloping cushions, striped patterns and rounded wooden bands that evoke the embrace of nature. A lively and sophisticated living room to welcome guests and relax outdoors.

Roda: sartorial outdoor

Teseo is the collection designed by AMDL Circle, Michele De Lucchi’s studio, for Roda. It is striking for its sartorial profile: table and chairs are made up of teak slats and strips held together by a sort of cord stitching. This design and production idea makes the collection’s design unique, evoking manual skills and outdoor life. The stitching, together with the rounded surface of the slats, makes the whole comfortable, even visually.

Ethimo: sculpture-furniture for the outdoors

Ethimo enriches the outdoor space with sculpture-furniture of the highest profile. These are the Boldini tables, an emanation of the Bold dining table, inspired by megalithic architecture. The colours are intense and bright, thanks to the precious selected marbles: Rosso Francia, Verde Guatemala or Sand-coloured travertine, combined with the enamelled ceramic legs.
