The new collections of outdoor lamps are a mix of high performance, atmospheric lighting and attractive design.

The presence is discreet but the design is significant in the latest collections of outdoor lamps presented at the Salone del Mobile. The desire to illuminate outdoor evenings in an effective but at the same time soft way is evident, to offer light objects that have a formal sense but that can be respectfully integrated into an outdoor setting.

To coexist with natural elements but also with the chosen furniture, in a space that takes on increasing importance within the design of the home and its daily life. And it is crucial that the light is respectful of the place, that it illuminates the space without disturbing the context. In this sense, the choice of the lamp for the outside is perhaps even more delicate than that for the inside, which is why the new collections are appreciated for their aesthetic and functional sensitivity.

Clara, Claretta and Kiki outdoor by Contardi

One of the recurring characteristics in Contardi’s collections is the grace of the shapes, accompanied by a contemporary style and unexpected creative and functional ideas. Characteristics that we also find in the outdoor collections which, in the case of Kiki, is the extension of an indoor collection, of which it retains the architectural but not technical character, and the essentiality of the structure. Claretta is a rechargeable lamp by Chiara Caberlon and recalls the appearance of an old lantern, presented for 2025 in three new color variations: terracotta, sage green and turquoise. Also by the same designer is Clara, a more complex version of the previous one and available in three very interesting sizes.

Bon Jour Unplugged New Release 2025 by Flos

It is not technically an outdoor light but it is worth mentioning the new version of the rechargeable Bon Jour table lamp by Philippe Starck for Flos. Ideal for accompanying evening moments outdoors, it celebrates ten years with a new look and technology. The technology is called Color Tune and allows you to precisely adjust the intensity of the light with an optical sensor, switching from a warm white to a clear white. Bon Jour is also renewed in colors with the new shades: Almost White, Faded Blue and Fresh Mint.

Solid by &Tradition

The Space Copenhagen design studio was inspired by the naval world to design this wall lamp that, depending on the finishes, can be installed both indoors and outdoors. It is called Solid and is an inverted cone that directs the light downwards to illuminate and create atmosphere. Contemporary and evocative, this lamp perfectly embodies the Danish style, with its essential and warm lines at the same time.

Lodes makes its debut in outdoor lighting

Among the absolute novelties of the latest edition of Euroluce is the debut in outdoor lighting of Lodes, a company with an experimental and elegant style that has entrusted its first collections in this category to a selection of contemporary designers. Kinno by Patrick Norguet almost perfectly reproduces the appearance of a mushroom and is proposed in a floor and wall version. By the same designer, the Chelsie lamp has a more austere and architectural profile.

Stitch by estudi{H}ac takes up the shape of fishing traps, in a hypnotic and decorative intertwining of ropes. While Reed, designed in-house, looks like a rush that arches in the wind. Lodes’ debut collection for the outdoors is therefore a mix of essential and decorative lights, suitable for contexts with different styles, always in balance between beauty and functionality.
