In the heart of Milan, architect Virginia Ministeri and interior designer Alessandro Spagliardi, supported by Mohd’s curated furniture selection, have transformed a former garage into a home that tells stories of light, materials, and connections.
The entrance opens into an enclosed microcosm where the contrast between the urban setting and the building’s sheet-metal facade sparks visual tension, inviting curiosity and discovery.
At the center lies a garden that serves as the house’s heart, seamlessly connecting the rooms and inspiring contemplation. Indoors, light dances across glossy and matte finishes, while wood, iron, and glass interplay with a warm, enveloping palette.
As evening falls, the house glows with an intimate charm, transforming into a lantern of peace and warmth—an oasis that contrasts with the city’s relentless pace.
In the kitchen, materials and details are skillfully combined to craft a space that transcends mere functionality, creating a welcoming environment filled with personality. The design strikes a harmonious balance between wood and metal, elevated by a palette of warm, earthy tones.
The flooring, with its subtle yet refined texture, evokes a Mediterranean aesthetic.
Clean geometries define the open kitchen, which flows effortlessly into the living area through the continuity of materials and the thoughtful distribution of natural light. Essential and well-proportioned furnishings highlight the space’s harmony without overwhelming it, fostering an atmosphere of intimacy and relaxation.
